Phone:
Skype gives you a low cost office phone solution. Its free for Skype to Skype but you have to pay for a local number. But the advantage here is you dont need a new handset or answering manchine. Skype even sends you an email to tell you someone has left a message.
Fax:
Try efax.com for a small monthly fee you dont need to own a fax machine. You dont need to have another phone line either. All faxes received are sent as an email which means you have a softcopy record. You will need a scanner if you want to send faxes.
